This book is an excellent guide for disassembly. It is worthless as a guide for assembly. There are no instructions step-by-step guide to assembling a firearm. In the best case takes the book, the Assembly is the reverse of the way forward in the dismantling. This is not necessarily the case. I do not recommend this book to a hobby.

If you own a shotgun, you should use this book. Well written, detailed procedures for performing minor repairs to their own shotgun. This book will not make you a gunsmith, but will save money by making the trust of many minor repairs themselves. Covers shotguns most popular. Only downside is that images often too dark and not in detail before.

Since I am a gunsmith and treat a variety of firearms, I bought this book for the dismantling of the installation instructions /.

This book is almost 23 years and in dire need of updating. It is not even the new S & W Glock automatic pistols series of handguns, or the Heckler & Koch (HK) MP 5 submachine gun. All this is widely used by law enforcement authorities. More Mossberg 500/590 is not covered. Duh! It is the only weapon available test mil spec and is widely used by police.

If you only have to wait for work to have developed an updated version which includes the use of firearms and law enforcement in the last 23 years

This guide covers more than 50 guns and cannons simular includes some variation. It plays no partial point of view, or work are booming. Therefore, the plant will require manual. The step by step instructions with photos are accompied. This book shows the various stages of disassembly in order. It is a great help to treat a firearm, but sometimes not to mention that some parts could be mounted at the rear and do not show this part, as it should. Overall, this book is to help you disassemble a firearm, and back!

  5. This book has most, if not every disassembly instuctions for each shotgun in this century or earlier. I used this guide for my Remington: Sportsman 1100 and 48, who was in the late 60s discontined. This book is the only of its kind that has so much information on so many different models, without directly writing to all other manufacturers is necessary.
