Offshore welders earn $2,775.00 per 84 hr. work week. If you would like to work offshore, send to me your email addresss.

@dezertcammo Idiot, open your eyes! He is picking up the file on the return trip of the file and pushing forward again. He’s just filing very lightly.

@dezertcammo Yes I was going to say the same thing, I learned how important it is in deber machined parts.

His repairs always seem so unpractical for anybody. You almost have to own a shop to do anything he gives tips on.

if its hardened steel then they are using an air quenching rod, probably A-2

“whose the dumb fuck that braze welded that piece before?”

If you don’t have a tig welder, brazing would be the next best thing. Brass very easy to file down. You sound like a dumbshit.

Learning to TIG weld is frustrating as hell.. but its fun at the same time.

0.55 that is a very ugly looking tig weld

  14. UpcomingJedi says:

I’d like to see the end result, not just pushing the trigger back with a big smile. Is that smile deserving of the weld?

I don’t mean to sound critical and this comment is not intended to make me a know-it-all, but I expected Larry to at least understand how to use a file properly. Just a pet peeve of mine I suppose, but files aren’t designed to use a sawing motion as seen in this video. They only cut one direction, and failing to use proper file technique will wear out a file faster than anything. Above all though Larry’s great and so is Midway USA.
