		<description>@krazy45cat The reports from the US Army Pistol and Revolver trials﻿ stated that the recoil was uncomfortable for those who shot them.  From that design, I would guess the lugs were a factor in the shock of the recoil  being transfered to the hand.

		<description>@TNPviewer The temptation to fire these is great, but unfortunatly﻿ they are not worth much if they are broken.  100+ years old and the replacement parts often times have to be made by hand.  Many times a .45 might have cracks that are not visible to the naked eye.  The 1902 Military Model (.38 acp) is more common and one is more likely to find a &quot;shooter&quot; but then you need the ammo, which is obsolete.  If I ever get the chance to fire one, I will definately post the video.  Thanks for watching!</description>
